Branding & Design Services
We Breathe Design.

Rooted in experience, inspired by nature.
Oniya Ranch was literally built on the talents and achievements by Kristi Overgaard in the world of branding and design. She started out with interior design, moved to real estate master plan marketing, and evolved into branding and design from owning her own agency, one11, to creating the big tech public offering at Switch in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Her partner in design, Michael Romane, has owned two of his own agencies in Chicago, paid his dues in the start-up spaces, and was a large part of one11’s success in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Their complementary talents in design and branding along with magic of Oniya Ranch’s location in nature allows them to offer clients a full suite of connecting to their visions, defining the why, asking all the questions, creating the imagery and messaging that defines a new reality, and a promise to come from their “Montana Real” ideology which eliminates any bullshit.
The Creative Lounge at Oniya Ranch is central to our collaborations with aligned clients in both brand development or redevelopment and communication design. Clients can either Zoom into the room or jump on a plane and get rooted right here to develop the ideas.

Some of our work...
Check out some of their combined works:

Fills Convenience Store: Name, Identity, and Interior Development.
This brand didn’t start at a whiteboard. It started at a gas pump. Our client was launching a chain of convenience stores in Las Vegas and wanted a name, brand concept, and design for both the brand and every detail of the interior and exterior of the building. We literally created a convenience store personality that felt welcoming, humorous, and memorable. “Fills” was born out of a play on words and the idea that convenience should be fun. We developed the full identity system and carried the tone into all of the signage of the store’s interior and exterior including playful language that makes even a quick stop feel surprisingly human.

Green Our Planet: Force of Nature Summit
To support Green Our Planet’s 2024 Force of Nature Summit, we developed a complete summit design system including a logo and visual identity built around interlocking rings—symbolizing the harmony of their for-profit and non-profit entities. Our team also reated a 100+ page investor book and companion presentation deck to help communicate their vision, clarify revenue models, and inspire strategic investment for the next chapter of growth.

Heart Brand Ranch: Logo
This logo was personal and was needed to carry the overall energy of our umbrella brand for the physical ranch identity. The logo wanted to be natural and connected to the roots of our origin story around the Lakotan ideology. This logo is both strongand proud, but also grounded in nature and the feminine creativity it takes to run this organization.

Caroline Ciocca: Personal Brand Identity
Caroline came to us to define her next chapter as a leadership guide and coach. We explored a range of concepts and landed on a brand identity that feels true to her: confident, approachable, and infused with heart. We delivered three distinct directions, each designed to reflect her energy and essence—right down to her signature curls. With thoughtful color and type choices, and a business card layout that brings it all to life, her new identity is ready to lead with authenticity.

Oog Oog: Identity
This fabulous client came to us with their name created, and they were ready to take Downtown Las Vegas by storm with their refreshing take on story-telling, film, and production. This entertaining team of talentallowed us to feel into their vision for their brand, their space, and their website. The cohesive, unleashed creativity vibe was alive and well during and after this collaborative process.

Om on the Range: Coffee Mug
At Oniya, we believe yoga and cowboy boots can coexist. “Om on the Range” is one of the playful product concepts that blends Eastern calm with Western grit. Designed, produced, and loved by our guests, this coffee mug is a reminder that groundedness can come from the mat—or the mountain.

One11: Creative Roots
Before Oniya, there was one11—Kristi Overgaard’s first branding agency and a creative hub focused on building authentic brands from the inside out. More than just design, we worked with clients to uncover the heart of their business and align it with their outward message. Housed in the iconic Holsum Lofts—a restored 1954 bakery-turned-design-center in Las Vegas—one11 was where heart, strategy, creativity, and purpose met under one cool roof. We’ve included this lone screenshot from the original website to honor the talented team who made One11 such a powerful space to create.

National Cowboy Poetry Gathering: Social Media Promotions
As a proud sponsor of the National Cowboy Poetry Gathering, Oniya Ranch leaned into the shared values of storytelling, tradition, and time spent off-screen and on the land. We developed a series of social media posts to help the Western Folklife Center promote this iconic event—highlighting the poets, musicians, and artists who give voice to the modern West. Our content wove together Oniya’s philosophy with the Gathering’s spirit, reminding audiences that authenticity still has a stage.

Green Our Planet: Think Tank Report with Results
The leadership team from Green Our Planet came to Oniya Ranch for a much-needed reconnect after Covid—immersing themselves in nature, experiencing horse-human connections, building tipis, eating real food, and reconnecting with purpose. Out of this experience emerged a creative roadmap with milestones and “by-whens” and a think tank report capturing the insights, strategies, and collective vision that was born out of their time with our team, but more importantly, our land. We wrapped the report with a personal touch—including recipes from our Chief Nurturer, Karla—because creativity and nourishment go hand in hand.
